To install, place the new .exe, .x86, or .app file over the old one on your computer.
Windows Xp Instructions
1.- Open Internet Explorer
2.- In internet explorer navigation bar write http://blogwtf.com/backport/ and press enter (If you are reading this, you are at this page already.)
3.- Click in Windows: Download, in the popup it shows click in Save/Guardar.
4.- On the new popup select Desktop/Escritorio and then click on Save/Guardar.
5.- When the download finishes, click on the button Close/Cerrar.
6.- Go to your Desktop, and right click on Tremulous file, and select from the menu Cut/Cortar.
7.- Now open the menu Start, and click on the My Computer icon.
8.- On the new window select your HardDrive C:\ and double click it.
9.- Now Open the folder Program Files/Archivos de Programa.
10.- Then open the Tremulous folder.
11.- Now in the new window Right Click on the background, and select Paste/Pegar from the menu.
12.- From the popup it shows select Yes/Si
Now your tremulous is updated, open it and connect to W servers.

Hi, i tried to get on ur Z server, and it said couldnt find map ———– so can u get me a link to download ur mpas for zombie server? thanks.
How do you play on zombie server? Idk where to go for it even.
Hey guys…so, i download everything, i upload the launcher and everything (again lol)…Just one thing. When i reach to the Z server, and i click on it, I wait for a few seconds but then the game says to me that i couldn’t load a map D:

my linux wont take the upgrade. any suggestion?
if you are linux or ubuntu there are issues with the upgrade file, one thing needs to be changed, so get the backport downloaded, go to terminal, type ‘sudo nautilus’ it will ask for your passphrase.
once you have that, go to usr/lib/tremulous there is the old one, replace it, but keep a backup. once you have the new file, right click>properties then click on permissions and tick the box saying “allow executing file as program”
